Building high volume Healthtech teams for a large transformational project through a retainer model approach!
Our client, a Healthtech business that enables healthcare teams to drive improvement for better patient outcomes through integrated technology and software had an urgent requirement for a high volume of 17 roles, for a strategic ongoing healthcare project, which would require attracting top talent locally to bring success With a a mixture of: Head of Product, Product Managers, Product Owner, cloud ops engineers, Senior Database Engineer, technical implementation specialist, cloud network architect, IT Change analyst.
In this scenario, timing was key. We had to ensure that the right people within the teams were delivering on these roles. Since this was a project, it was vital that we treated it as such, therefore ensuring that the process and SLAs were clear. Despite the high volume of mixed roles that needed to be filled in a short timeframe, salaries weren’t competitive and in addition, complex cloud roles, AWS, were required.
Fortunately, we delivered on the retainer and filled the roles. We succeeded in doing so by carrying out regular team briefings, both internally and with clients to give regular updates on the status of the project. We worked closely with the internal recruitment team and hiring managers to help manage candidates and got role briefings from all of the hiring managers at EMIS. We placed the best consultants within the delivery team with the responsibility of filling the roles: we had all hands-on-deck and encouraged our specialised consultants to focus on the specifics. Consequently, we continued and continue to have a successful partnership with our client.
