Your Responsibilities:
As a Solutions Architect, you will:
- Lead the architectural design and governance of solutions across the entire software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and integrate seamlessly with cloud services such as AWS.
- Identify and implement new technologies to solve complex problems or open up new opportunities for innovation.
- Deliver high-quality software architecture designs within set timeframes, ensuring integration and interoperability between systems.
- Utilise deep knowledge of desktop, web-based, and microservices architectures to design effective solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of success in software and solution architecture. You’ll excel in this role if you have:
Essential:
- Strong experience delivering software architecture that meets business needs within defined timelines.
- Expertise in creating solution designs, particularly involving system integration and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure OR GCP).
- Proven experience with Java
- Proficiency in identifying new technologies and applying them to business challenges.
- A deep understanding of software development, programming concepts, and relevant architecture models (desktop, web-based, microservices).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative ways of working.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills at all organisational levels.
